The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, was involved in a road accident with his team while on constituency business.
The accident occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2026, while the MP and his team were travelling to secure school placements for students in the constituency.
Dapaah later shared footage showing the overturned SUV involved in the accident and provided an update on the condition of those involved.
In a post on his social media page, the MP said they were safe and receiving medical evaluation.
“Earlier today, my team and I were involved in a road accident while on a mission to secure school slots for students in Ahafo Ano South West.
“We are safe, receiving medical evaluation, and deeply grateful for your prayers and support,” he wrote.
He, however, did not provide further details about the accident.
