NPP Lies About Betty’s Houses Exposed

An impeccable source within the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has hinted The Informer that the recent character assassination on a former Ghana’s Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Mrs. Betty-Mould Iddrissu, was a dishonest creation and series of the party’s calculated agenda to discredit both current and former appointees of the Mills administration.

According to the party-insider, the NPP has put in place a mechanism to gag outspoken NDC members and top personalities whose continuous presence on the political landscape poses a threat to the electoral fortunes of the party in the upcoming December 07 general elections.

“First it was Okudzeto-Ablakwa, when an non-existing magazine reported that he had acquired mansions in the ‘States’, and now it is Betty-Mould, which obviously has also turned out not to be just mere fabrication, but to link her to the Woyome saga”, the source has hinted.

“My Brother, anytime the NPP is in the news for a bad reason like how the Kennedy Agyapong’s genocidal comments and war declaration became canker in their fabric, they will churn out lies to divert public attention”, this trusted source added.

“In fact, our people have lined up a number of orchestrated campaign to smear appointees and top personalities of the NDC like they have done in Mrs. Betty Mould Iddrissu case”, he pointed out, adding that the same pattern will be used on others, he concludes.

However, investigations conducted by this paper to ascertain the veracity of so-called Leicester Recorder, turns out to be a complete hoax. When The Informer contacted one Frank Davids, a journalist in the United Kingdom (UK), who has been working very hard to equally unearth the authenticity of the said story, he said the publication has no merit. According to him, the said newspaper does not exist, and that, further checks conducted reveals that, one of the properties with address; 252 High Road, Loughton, IG10 1RB, alleged to have been purchased by the former Attorney General and Minister for Justice and published by a section of the Ghanaian media was just a Sweet Shop named Mr. Simms Olde.

Frank Davids also pointed out that, in addition to the 252 High Road Loughton, IG10 1RB which turns out to be a sweet shop, other extensions were flats housing Estate Agents, Clothing Shop and Restaurants.
