GhanaWeb's visit to 3 electoral areas in the Tema West Constituency has shown that voting is gradually picking up in the constituency.

The first stop at the Star Basic School Polling Center in the Kaiser electoral area as of 7:30 am saw two delegates casting their votes. In all 36 delegates are expected to vote in this polling center.

At the Dzata Bu polling center, 10 out of 42 delegates have voted so far. GhanaWeb is informed one out of the 42 will be a proxy vote.

Mr. Carlos Kinsley Ahenkorah, Keku Armquasi Armuzuah, and Kwasi Poku Bosompem are the aspirants for the Tema West Constituency.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) today in all parts of the country is undergoing the primaries to elect Parliamentary candidates to represent the party in the December 7 polls.

Mr. Kwasi Poku Bosompem an aspirant speaking to GhanaWeb has alleged that Mr. Carlos Ahenkorah, who is the incumbent MP has camped delegates, a major reason for the low turnout in some of the polling centre.

However, despite the intimidation tactics, he's confident about winning the elections.
