NPP China Donates over $32,000 worth of Campaign Items

The China Branch of the New Patriotic Party has, at a colourful ceremony held on the 10th of October 2012 at the party’s headquarters, donated items valued at $32,500 to support the campaign activities of headquarters and its adopted constituency, the Cape Coast Constituency. The items include campaign stickers, posters, wrist bands, campaign T-shirts, motor bicycles, sets of football Jerseys, sets of heat press machines among other things.
The Chairman of the China Branch, Charles Dwamena, in a speech that was read on his behalf by Ben Owusu-Achiaw stated that the donation was the branch’s contribution towards the 2012 campaign.
He expressed the hope that the donation will go a long way in aiding the campaign efforts so as to ensure a one-touch gargantuan victory for NANA AKUFO ADDO and the parliamentary candidates in this year’s elections.
Receiving the items, the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party- Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, who was assisted by the General Secretary- Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, thanked the China Branch for the gesture and expressed the hope that such gestures would be extended to other constituencies so as to ensure a massive victory in this year’s elections.
Also present at the ceremony were the Parliamentary Candidate for Cape Coast- Alfred Thompson, the Director of International Affairs- Charles Owiredu, the Director of Logistics- Atto Williams, Rex Osei Boateng and Cecelia Kyeremaa-Adinkrah both of NPP China, and media personnel.
