The National Information Technology Agency (NITA) has announced a temporary service outage affecting the Government of Ghana email platform, assuring the public that efforts are underway to restore full functionality.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, NITA acknowledged the disruption and its potential impact on public service delivery.
“We wish to inform the public, especially users of the Government of Ghana Email Platform, that service is currently experiencing a temporary outage. Our technical team has identified the issue and is working diligently to restore full functionality as quickly as possible. We understand the importance of this platform in supporting government communication and public service delivery, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this disruption may cause,” the statement, signed by the Acting Director General, Dr Mark-Oliver Kevor, read.

The agency also thanked users for their patience and cooperation as it works to resolve the issue.
