NDP Receives EC's Certification

The National Democratic Party is now a full fledge political party that will contest in this year’s elections. This follows its certification by the electoral commission today.

This however puts to rest speculations that the party will not be able to contest this year’s elections due to some semblance of their party colours which is somewhat the same as the NDC.

Acting National Chairman of the National Democratic Party, Joseph Mamboah Rockson in an interview told Pravda News the next line of action for the party is to declare their national presence.

The party is yet to make known certain names speculated in the media to be the founding fathers and one of such name is the founder of the NDC and former president Jerry John Rawlings.

Others have also speculated that the former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings is likely to run for presidency on the ticket of the NDP.
