President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

The organizer for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Nana Kofi Amponsah, has said from now till the next 30 years, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), will never come to power again.

Speaking on Nyankonton My Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he said, the NDC is no longer an option for Ghanaians when it comes to competence and accountable leadership.

The NPP he said is not having any contest with the NDC because the party is not reliable, accountable and transparent to manage this country.

“The NDC is not an option from now to the next 30 years. That I can assure you. If God grant us life, the NDC will no longer be an option from now to the next 30 years.”

Ghanaians he noted have tasted better leadership under President Akufo-Addo and the implementation of the free Senior High School policy has provided opportunity for many young people to have access to secondary education.

The reduction in electricity tariffs and creation of jobs are just but few of the major promises fulfilled by the ruling government.

“Ghanaians are now wiser than before. They do not need the NDC to lie to them about the achievements of Nana Addo. Ghanaians have benefitted from the good works of Nana Addo and so, they do not need the NDC to point out what they already know.”

He was speaking in reaction to the upcoming Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election which has been slated for January 31, 2019 following the death of Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, the MP who died after a short illness.

Nana Ofori Amponsah stressed that, the NPP is going to retain the seat in the constituency because of the good works done by the late MP.

Hr recounted the days of dumsor and hardship brought on Ghanaians by the NDC and said, it destroyed businesses and left many unemployed but today, the NPP has in place measures that has relieved citizens from their pain.
