NDC shall accept no abusive language endorsing Mahama

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has served notice that it will not countenance abusive words used by any party supporter to endorse President John Mahama to win the upcoming 2016 elections.

A statement signed by the General Secretary of the Party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said “never; will the NDC engage in the politics of insults.”

According to the NDC, its attention has been drawn to a Social Media Clip doing the rounds in which a certain celebrity has used very abusive language to endorse His Excellency President John Mahama to win the 2016 polls.

The party said “in as much as the NDC appreciates, and continues to appreciate the massive endorsement of President Mahama by all sections of the Ghanaian Society; the use of abusive and unacceptable language shall not be accepted. The NDC is reiterating the fact that abusive language and violence is not our style of campaigning.”

The statement added that “President Mahama is doing his utmost best as President of Ghana and Leader of the NDC to deliver on the Party’s pledge to build a Better Ghana and we believe that with God on our side, the majority of Ghanaians will vote in the direction of the NDC.”
