NDC recruited foreigners to vote- Ken Korankye

The Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight newspaper, Kenneth Agyei Korankye, has alleged that the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) brought in some foreign nationals into the country to vote for them in the general elections.

He said he has in possession of a very credible video tape to prove to the whole world that the NDC truly stole the verdict of the Ghanaian people.

Speaking on Citi FM’s political programme, “The Big Issue” on Saturday, Mr Agyei Korankye intimated that “I have video evidence on my laptop showing some Burkinabe and Togolese nationals voting in some constituencies”.

He said he did not only believe the NDC stole votes in the presidential poll alone but also massaged figures of the parliamentary votes.

“This is not fair to our democracy where some evil dwarfs sit somewhere and manipulates figures against the verdict of the good people of this country, and this is a serious crime,” he noted.

Mr. Korankye, however, called on the NPP MPs who lost at their respective constituencies to conduct a thorough search into the figures they got at the December 7 election and proceed to court to seek redress.

He stressed that the outcome of the elections was twisted to suit the ruling party.
