The National Security system has sent several teams into the Ashanti Region as election 2012 draws near, with one stated mission; they are to scout for ways and means by which voter turn-out can be reduced in the region during voting day.
So far, this paper is reliably informed that the teams are made up of four-man teams using four-wheel drive vehicles to scout the region planning egress contingencies and also putting together teams of irregulars (machomen) on motorbikes with the aim of disrupting the election on voting day.
So far, this newspaper has identified the leader of one of the teams as the gentleman who calls himself 'Sumeila Beibel', the same cattle farmer who sued the imprisoned Adamu Dramani Sakande, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Bawku Central.
Aside from that, this paper has also discovered that the entire operation that ended up with Sakande imprisoned was masterminded out of blue gate, with 'Sumeila Beibel' at the head.
Sumeila Beibel is currently in the Ashanti Region, driving an ash colored four-wheel drive Ford vehicle with registration number GE6919-09, leading a team with the intent of disrupt voting in the Ashanti Region.
“He and several others have been sent there by Gbevlo-Larttey to ensure that there is low turn-out on voting day during the election,” a National Security source said.
