NDC folks fighting Mahama to lose 2016 elections – Kofi Wayo

The Founder and Leader of defunct United Renaissance Party (URP) Charles Kofi Wayo wants President John Dramani to rise up and fight his saboteurs within the NDC fold who he alleged are working against his second-term bid in government.

Kofi Wayo told Anopa Kasapa host Fiifi Banson on Kasapa 102.3 FM that he has information of some NDC folks who are tirelessly fighting Mahama in secrecy so he loses the November 7, Presidential elections.

“John Mahama has to get up because I said it that they are going to sabotage him and they are doing it and so he’s to get up and fight like a man. I know they planned this way back…but you know John Mahama is working with God, so that is why I don’t criticise him too much, because it’s God who brought him;I can’t fight God,” the founder of URP said.

“There are guys in his party who have been promised government positions when opposition comes to power” he noted, but added that John Mahama “loves God and God always let the people who love him win.”

According to Wayo, despite the fact that he doesn’t agree with Mahama, he believes he’s a clear chance of winning the upcoming elections, saying the President has massive support on the grounds.

” I was in Ashanti region recently distributing 200 cutlasses in the villages, and the people asked whether I like John Mahama? They told me that they like him very well and they will vote for him again because he cares for the masses.”
