NDC final rally: "God is going to speak on 7th Dec" - Mahama

The final rally of the NDC has just ended at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre with President Mahama making his final political statement for the season.
President John Dramani Mahama: Thanked the Greater Accra region for the rally. Dedicates the campaign and the victory ahead to the late President Mills. Says Ghanaians have absorbed the message of the NDC and will give the party another term. President Mahama called for vigilance ahead of the election. "We are confident that if this election is peaceful and everything is done according to plan, i am confident that the NDC will win this election come December 7."
He said the government has done its part by providing all the necessary resources for the EC and the security services. Unless there are some evil forces that are planning to unleash evil on this country.
He said in order to have a basis for comparison, the Mahama administration must also be given eight years. He said due to the work the NDC has done in four years , their opponents are hoping they don't get another four years but the NPP is not God. He said the NDC's education programme is solid and the track record is strong.
He said the NPP increased SHS to four years and did not provide a single classroom block for the students. He said the NPP is trying to pull him into the Free SHS debate but it will not wash. He insisted that progressively making SHS free is the best.
"Ghana must not adopt the free SHS on the desperate political promise of a politician who wants to be elected as president," the President said.
NDC has a solid programme that goes beyond education and encompasses tourism, jobs, energy and so on.
He said God's will will be done on December 7. "I will be the needle that will sow the cloth of Ghana together and above all we will make sure that Ghana continues to be peaceful and stable."
Vice President Amissah-Arthur: Says residents of the Central Region say they are solidly behind the president.
Dr. Cadman Mills: The election is about Mills' legacy. President Mills said he was well pleased with the Vice President. President Mahama is a listener, an integrator. Urges NDC supporters not to respond to provocation.
