The death has been reported of Mr. Sandy Amoyaw, a former vice chairman of NDC-New York and a staunch member of NDC-USA. MR. Sandy Amoyaw’s sudden demised occurred in Accra after a brief illness. Mr. Sandy Amoyaw was very active and instrumental in the late President Mill’s 2008 electoral victory, supporting the party with resources and rigorously campaigned.

He will be dearly missed. We mourn with the family of Mr. Amoyaw for the great and sudden lost their illustrious son.
“Sandy was a gentleman amongst gentlemen. A man of few words but filled with so much wisdom. We on earth may have lost a brother and a friend but heaven has definitely gained an angel,” lamented Chairman Cobby Boahene.

“Mr. Amoyaw was a pillar of NDC-New York. He was always there to lend a supporting hand, be it to a member in need in Ghana or the entire branch here in New York in need of support. We of New York Branch have lost one of us, a comrade and a father. We shall forever miss you. Rest In Peace till me meet again, Sandy. Sandy, we need you but your Maker needs you more. We have consolation in the fact that you are resting peacefully in the bosom of your Maker” said the Chairman of NDC- New York, Alhaji Abbass Adamu.
