NDC Primaries: 'If Opare-Ansah shows his chest, I will go naked to face him' - Assemblywoman vows

The Assemblywoman for the Oforikrom Electoral Area at Suhum in the Eastern region, Madam Lucy Anim Koryo, has vowed she will do everything within her capacity to unseat Frederick Opare-Ansah as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Suhum constituency.

According to her, she will not hesitate to show her nakedness to the incumbent MP if he challenges her in her quest to win the primaries for her party, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The vociferous Assemblywoman made the comment when she and her supporters thronged the party's regional office on Friday, July 26, 2019, for vetting.

Addressing journalist and party folks present after sailing through the vetting process, Lucy Anim Koryo said she foresees the 2020 elections as a tough battle, and that she will not sit aloof for Mr. Opare-Ansah who has been MP for nearly two decades to retain the seat.

“If Opare-Ansah shows his chest, then I will go naked to face him”, she spoke in parables to indicate her ever readiness for the battle ahead.

Meanwhile, Madam Koryo is battling two other female aspirants, Amanda Okyere from Akwatia and Mercy Ago a.k.a Area Mama, who are also seeking the green light from the NDC delegates in Suhum to be their Parliamentary Candidate.
