NDC Mends Cracks In Leadership

National Democratic Congress(NDC) leadership has met with feuding leading members of the party in attempt to resolve their differences, before the party's national delegates congress on December 28.

Media reports, confirmed by party members, indicate that disagreements hinge on the work of the party's re-organisation committee and the declared intentions by some members contest positions at various levels of the party.

The disagreements, which have brought about cracks within the leadership has pitched the party's re-organisation committee chairman Dr. Obed Asamoah against the founder and leader of the party- Ex President Jerry Rawlings.

A statement signed by General Secretary Huudu Yahaya says, the problems have been significantly dealt with and urged supporters of the party to continue to maintain cohesion, faith and do nothing to the contrary.

The national executive committee is expected to issue a report on the issue.
