NDC Gov’t Planning To Jail Woyome & Betty?

Okyeame On The Beat

(Okyeame Wants To Know)
In fact, I don’t want to believe what I am hearing that plans are underway by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to jail Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome and Madam Betty Mould-Iddrisu, so they can use it for campaign, no!
Folks, I pray that this information turns out to be as usual, one of the rumours that we normally pick up from political circles; but I swear that should this prove to be nothing but the palpable truth, that such moves is being made so as to nail the above mentioned personalities, then hell will break loose.
To be honest, Okyeame is not saying that the NDC and for that matter party in power should safeguard the interest of questionable characters in its fold, never.
Furthermore, the statement is not always to mean that businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Madam Betty Mlould-Iddrisu and all those connected to the judgment debt paid Woyome and are equally standing trial, like Asimenu and Mr. & Mrs. Nerquaye are or are not guilty; not at all.
The concern of Okyeame which I strongly believe many discerning minds in this country are equally not happy about, is the dramatic twist of events in this whole judgment debt brouhaha.
Ghanaians all over, began to smell rat following the bizarre manner in which Agbesi Woyome was arrested, the scheming that went on during his detention to the extent that, it came out that some NDC bigwigs were exerting an intense pressure on the judge not to grant him bail; and now, the news is that those who fear the continuous presence of the chap in the party following his no-nonsense stance want him jailed; and I laughed.
In fact, let me repeat that Okyeame is not and will not hold breath for anyone who is found to have contravene the law since its reigns supreme, and is no respecter of person. But my disagreement is with regards to the way and manner some government appointees continue to present the picture as if the gentleman is a criminal, when the case is still in court.
Anytime appointees of government, especially those in the forefront of communication come out to comment on the matter, all that we hear is that Woyome is a fraudulent character and so must be made to face the full rigors of the law, as if someone has said that he should be left off the hook.
In fact, it is as a result of such silly utterances that place me against Kwesi Pratt and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, yet it seems no lesson has been learnt from that particular piece.
After all that I did to Ablakwa, he has again decided to pass judgment, confirming the information that is making the round that government want to, at all cost, sacrifice Woyome in order to have a smooth campaign; and I wonder whether they are serious.
Okudzeto by far and large, is completely handicap when it comes to the law, though, I’m told he is making frantic efforts so that he can also be call to the BAR; yet, in order to carry out the wishes of his so-called political godfathers, he continues to pronounce judgment on a matter before a court of competent jurisdiction.
Alfred Woyome and Betty Mould-Iddrisu to be sacrificed so NDC can have a clean, and smooth campaign? We shall all see if that will work.
Beloved in Christ, what even annoys me the more, is that, people that Alfred Woyome has personally helped long before he was paid the judgment debt, for their involvement in some form of sex scandal are part of the plot; and I sincerely pray for their souls.
We are all awaiting and Ghanaians will get to know who the true NDC members are, since I have enough dossiers on many of them calling the shots in the party today, and about how they benefited gargantuanly from the erstwhile NPP administration.
