The sanitary conditions at the International Trade Fair centre where the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is holding its 9th Delegates Congress is an eyesore and can best be described as “land filth site” as plastic rubber and all manner of waste have been dumped on the ground with impunity by patrons.

The Fantasy Dome where the election process is taking place is not left out with the floor “tiled” with filth. Plastic bottles, empty food packs and sachet water rubbers are left at every place as one finds convenient while they feel comfortable sitting and awaiting the outcome of results.

The situation is much serious when one visits the mobile toilets provided at vantage points for natures call, MyNewsGh.com checks revealed.

The toilets are full and left unattended and it’s unclear whose responsibility it is among members of the planning committee to foresee the arena is tidy

At the 9th National Delegates Congress of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), the trade fair is overwhelmed with thousands gathering to elect executives who will steer affairs of the party into the 2020 elections.

The election which began in a very clean environment in a matter of less than 24-hours leaves much to be desired.

The Zoomlion Company has a great task ahead in keeping the venue clean to befit an international status of grounds for doing business.

Sanitation has been one of Ghana’s biggest challenges and much to do with attitude since the same nationals when in other foreign countries consciously avoid dumping on the ground.
