A communications team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Kwaku Asafo Agyei has attacked the growing indiscipline among police personnel especially the female recruits.

According to him, the conduct of some female personnel towards suspects is uncalled for and which leaves much to be desired calling on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante Apeatu to bring those bad nuts to book to win back the confidence of Ghanaians.

“If you see how the female police officers handle suspects and how they will speak to you, it is annoying and you will disbelieve they have training”, the outspoken politician spoke on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM’s morning show monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

“Where is the IGP and Director of PIPSS?”, the aspiring Ashanti Regional Deputy Communication Officer quizzed the host of the show Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin during ‘Kroyi My Nsem’ political talk show.

Mr. Kwaku Asafo Agyei attacks stem from a report police in Kumasi allegedly tortured young lady in a course of arresting.

Ama Agyemang, 22, a native of Abrepo is currently battling for her life at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH)

According to one of the policemen who spoke to Joy News under anonymity, Ms Agyemang was in police custody and attempted committing suicide, hence their resolve to send her to the hospital but preliminary medical checks showed no signs of suicide but grave marks of severe assault,” a doctor at KATH said
