Staff of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) have been asked to step-up their effort at assisting the people to have a better understanding of the their civil responsibilities.

Mr. Samuel Akuamoah, the Commission’s Deputy Director of Operations, said they should accept to go the extra mile to reach out to everybody.
He indicated that they had a constitutional duty to perform and could not afford to disappointment.

Addressing workers of the NCCE in the Asante-Akim South District at Juaso, he said they had critical role to play - to help Ghanaians to show loyalty and love for their country.

He was in the area as part of his tour of some selected districts to monitor the activities of the Commission.
He had earlier visited the Kwahu East, Kwahu West, and the Asante-Akim Central Municipality.

Mr. Akuamoah counseled the workers to live above reproach – conduct themselves well to inspire public confidence.

They should be professional in the performance of their duties and strive to achieve results with any resources put at their disposal

Mr. Samuel Otchere, the District Director of NCCE, pledged to continue to work hard and with a passion to grow the nation’s constitutional democracy.
