Goalkeeper Daniel Agyei says it will impossible for his Ethiopian side Jimma Abba Jifar to eliminate Al Ahly of Egypt ahead of their CAF Champions League final qualifying round meeting.
Jimma Abba Jifar set a date with the Red Devils after eliminating ASAS Djibouti Telecom.
But their next assignment is a mammoth task for the debutants and Adjei admits it would not be easy.
"Everyone knows who is Al-Ahli club and we will prepare very well for that match with all the strength we have,'' he told El-Ahly.com.
"We will come to face Ahli in Cairo in order to enjoy only, we know we do not have a strong team that can compete with the Red Giant," he told El-Ahly.com .
"We have a new team now. The team that won the Ethiopian league has not been the same. Many of them have left and signed new players."
Al Ahly will host Jimma Abba Jifar in the first leg on 14 December and the return leg in Addis Ababa between 21-23.
The 29-year-old added: "We are going to play against the best team in Africa. The question of winning Al Ahly or going through the group stage is difficult and almost impossible."
"We will go into that match just to enjoy it because we simply do not have a strong team."
"I said that we do not have a strong team and that the question of winning is almost impossible, but despite all this, we are not afraid of facing Ahli."
