The Head Pastor of Conquerors Chapel International, Kumasi Branch, Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi, has recounted his ordeal following the 2024 general elections, after his prophecy came to pass.
Speaking exclusively with Etsey Atisu on GhanaWeb TV’s The Lowdown, aired on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Prophet Worlasi recounted how people created a false narrative about him, accusing him of aligning with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi explained that the perception of his alignment with the NDC stemmed from his accurate prophecy predicting a victory for the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, in the 2024 general elections.
He explained that this led to both verbal and physical attacks against him, recounting one such incident where his house was targeted. Fortunately, he said he was not at home at the time of the attack.
“Last year, after the election, people tagged me as an NDC prophet in Kumasi and, you know Kumasi is a strong base of the NPP. And so, for me to go to stations to say that I've seen that the NDC will win, it was a big deal there.
“I had so many attacks verbally and people attacked me sometimes but I was not in the house. They would go to my house to cause destruction,” the man of God recounted.
When asked by host Etsey Atisu whether he pursued legal action against those responsible for the attacks, Prophet Worlasi disclosed that he chose not to take any such steps, including reporting the incident to the police.
He explained that he had anticipated the attacks, having experienced a premonition beforehand.
“No, I just let it go because I knew that God was with me, and God was the one who gave me that utterance so, I was not afraid. Any time those things happened, I knew because I saw it ahead of time before it happened and so, I was not surprised about it,” he added.
