Former Hearts of Oak speedster, Patrick Razak says he will regret if he does not play for the Black Stars before he call it a quit.

Razak despite playing an instrumental role in Black Stars B WAFU Cup triumph in 2017 has reiterated that his career will not be successful if he doesn’t don the national colours.

The former Tamale Utrecht academy winger left the country for greener pastures in Guinea but had an unsuccessful spell with Horoya AC.

He had been nursing an injury but is now fully fit and has started an individual training.

According to him, he is looking to signing for club in the country when football bounces back.

Rumour had it that, both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko have shown interest to capture his signature.

In an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM, he indicated that his target is to play for the national team before he ends his football career.

“I know I have played for the Black Stars B but that is not my target. I want to play for the national team proper. If I sign for a local club and they invite me back to the local Black Stars I will play but now the target is for the Black Stars”

“If I sit down and watch the players who plays for the national team, I tell myself I can compete with them. I am a winger so I look at my position and I assess myself. I believe I have what it takes to play for the national team” he ended.
