The newly elected National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joshua Hamidu Akamba has pooh poohed assertions that his abrasive nature will cause the NDC’s defeat in the 2020 elections which the party is so keen on winning.

The fire-brand tough talking politician comes across to many as an overly aggressive politician who who attacks issues frontally irrespective of whose ox is gourd, an attitude some political watchers say will not inure to the benefit of the opposition NDC as his character is sure not to appeal to floating voters.

But speaking on Ekosiisen show on Asempa FM, Joshua Akamba believes he’s a fine gentleman who will appeal to floating voters during the 2020 election and wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), adding that he’s a gentleman than the maverick NPP MP for Assin Central.

“I’m an Organizer, if you say I’m abrasive then the worst is Ken Agyapong (MP for Assin Central) but they still won power, he is an MP and a sponsor of the NPP, his character and conduct didn’t cause the NPP’s defeat in 2016. He’s worst, I’m more gentle than him, as for Ken Agyapong he can even swear by God to do this or that, if people are okay with him why not me?
