The Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, has called on the public to disregard a report by the Chronicle Newspaper that he [Mussah Dankwah] said NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, have no chance to succeed President John Dramani Mahama.
In a post on his X page on October 10, 2025, he described the report as fake news.
“Don’t create fake story just to sell your newspaper,” Mussah Dankwah’s one line post on X read.
This follows a recent Global InfoAnalytics poll that predicted the possibility of Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, leading the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as its flagbearer in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking on JoyNews on July 4, 2025, and monitored by GhanaWeb, the Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, provided insights into the poll, including the data collected and the sample size used.
He stated that 27% of NDC members prefer Haruna Iddrisu to lead the party into the 2028 Election, ahead of other key party figures such as Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and Julius Debrah.
"... If you ask them, who would you want to lead the NDC in the 2028 elections, 27% of them said Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister of Education. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah 26%, Dr Ato Forson 22%, and it's a very tight race; Julius Debrah 11%, Honorable Ablakwa 8%, Zanetor 4% and the rest of them 3%. So, all the names that you will be thinking about is part of the 3%," he said.
