Moroccan Ambassador to Ghana Mohamed Farahat has implored the family of late investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale to trust in the police and patiently wait for the outcome of investigations.

He says the death of Ahmed is not a loss to his family alone but the nation at large.

“I want to extend my condolences to the family of Ahmed Hussein-Suale and the media fraternity at large.

“We have all been affected by the assassination of the investigative journalist. We should be calm and trust the investigations to bring the criminals to book.”

The diplomat spoke to 3news.com during a working visit to Kumasi to confer with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, was shot dead by unidentified men on a motorbike on Wednesday, January 16 whilst driving home.

Ahmed was shot twice in the chest and once in the neck at Madina in Accra.

He has since been buried.

The police are investigating the crime to unmask the assailants.
