More donate to Otumfuo's Educational Fund

Pokuase (G/A), May 9, GNA - Dr. Prince George Appiah, Managing Director of PGA-LAB and Research Centre, a NGO at Afiaman, near Pokuase, in the Ga District, has donated 48 million cedis to the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Educational Fund.

The amount is to be spread over a period of four years. Dr. Appiah disclosed this when he launched a year's Free Education on cosmetology for over 200 unemployed youth of the area. He appealed to philanthropists to contribute towards education by donating in cash or in kind. He said he would spend over one billion cedis to establish schools and farms to provide employment for the youth.

Nii Otto Kwame II, Chief of Pokuase, commended Dr. Appiah for his support, and appealed to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Amasaman District Assembly to release land for the school and farming projects.
