Minister and the Ambassador must tell the truth -ASM

The Africa Standard Magazine STANDS BY ITS STORY concerning the Ghanaian minister Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who is a minister in the current Ghanaian government and the Ghanaian Ambassador to the USA, Mr Daniel Agyekum and below is the reason why.

On the 8th of March, Mr. Ablakwa purchased through Bay Property Management, a 4 bedroom house in friendswood, Texas in an exclusive area called Forest Creek. The house was paid through Bankers Draft through the Chase Bank branch in Galveston, Texas on 8th of March, 2011. The cost of the house was 130,000 dollars

On the 12th of March, workmen from Gilbane Building Company arrived at the house to carry out interior decoration and construction works at the front entrance and which we have obtained a statement of proof Which we will publish with other additional documents .

On the 24th of March, furniture purchased from Jessie Davis and Sons, a furniture firm arrived in 2 pick up trucks and was loaded to the house.

We are patiently waiting for the Lawyers of Mr Samuel Ablakwa as we have received information through the media that he intends to sue. we welcome his actions as it will give us the opportunity to reveal more to the court and to his nation Ghana.

Regarding Mr Daniel Agyekum, the Ghanaian Ambassador our response is to write to his Excellency the President of Ghana and the Ghanaian government and in that letter submit for their study and investigation

a. copies of land maps of the lands in Richmond area he sought to purchase for the record, the net worth according to an accounting firm we consulted stands at 5 million dollars worth in real estate value alone.

b. a copy of the title deed

c. c. a full list of the houses he visited in the following areas between January 30th and February 15th-the areas are Lakeside, Dumbarton, Highland springs, Lorraine and Colonial Heights.

The major question we asked and which has still not been answered is how did The Ghanaian Minister and the Ghanaian Ambassador acquire this amount of money and have the time to use surrogates and agencies in the USA to facilitate these transactions?

The African Standard is of the view that this is a test case for the Ghanaian authorities to take action against the Minister and the Ambassador. We also hold the view that the the United States government should stop giving aid and supporting the finances of African governments whose ministers siphon cash and return to buy properties in the USA , while their people live in abject poverty and starve to death
