Mills Running Mate: P.V Obeng?

The leader of the National Democratic Congress, Prof John Evans Atta Mills has refuted media allegations that he has ruled out accepting party colleague, Mr Paul Victor Obeng as his running-mate.

He told Peace fm on Wednesday that, neither he nor any member of the party, has begun searching for a running-mate for the NDC flagbearer in the 2004 presidential election.

Prof Mills said, the party is currently planning its campaign strategies towards 2004, as far as organising the party is concerned. According to Prof Mills P.V. Obeng qualifies in everything, to be the flagbearer of the NDC or run alongside him as his running-mate.
