Mills Asked To Apologize....

...FOR DONATING GIFT TO GA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL

Mr. Kwabena Adjei Agyapong, Presidential Spokesman and Press Secretary to the President has asked Professor Mills to apologise to the Ga Traditional Council and Chiefs of the country for donating gifts presented to him by the State Protocol to the Council.

According to him, Prof. Mills’ action is unGhanaian, scornful and disrespectful to the chieftaincy institution, “To receive a gift and re-donate it to an authority like a traditional council is unaccepted,” he said.

“For Prof. Mills to say that he is a christian who did not need alcoholic drinks but presented them to the council, is scornful and disrespectful to the chiefs. It is a breach of our traditional values for a man like Prof. Mills to do that,” he stressed.
