Member calls for time-tested NPP programmes

Nkwanta (V/R), July 27, GNA - Mr Bernard Mensah, Nkwanta South Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday called for "time-tested programmes and itineraries" that would woo idling voters into the Party.

He also called on followers to subscribe ardently to businesses and tenets of the NPP toward a resounding victory at the 2008 general polls.

Mr Mensah made these remarks at the Nkwanta South Constituency delegates' conference, aimed at strengthening structures of the constituency in order to make the Party more marketable and the preferred choice of the people.

He admonished loyalists to remain disciplined and propagate the achievements of the Party within the last five years to the electorate. Mr Joseph Denteh, Nkwanta District Chief Executive, urged party supporters to remain united. "No individual or group was supreme than the Party," he warned and pledged his "fullest" support to the course of the party.
