Meeting between the Ghana & French Minister of Foreign Affairs

Mr. Laurent Fabius, French Minister of Foreign Affairs, has received in Paris his Ghanaian counterpart, Ms. Hannah Tetteh, on Thursday, 10th of October. This visit follows the official visit of President John Dramani Mahama in France in May 2013.

During their meeting, the Ministers had a discussion about security and regional issues in preparation for the Elysée Summit on peace and security in Africa, which will be held in France in December. They had also some exchanges about bilateral cooperation, which was recently strengthened by the signing of a Framework Partnership Document, and economic relations.

The first session of the French-Ghanaian political dialogue will take place in Paris on October 24.
