Meet-The-Press series re-scheduled

The Information Services Department (ISD) on Monday said it has re-scheduled the next Meet-the-Press series for Sector ministers to May 20.

A statement initialled by Mr D. A. Kwapong, Acting Director of the ISD, said the arrangement was to enable the Ministers to settle in their new portfolios.

The new time table for the events starting May 20 are: Ministry of Private Sector Development; Ministry of Defence, May 27; Ministry of Justice and Attorney-General, June 3; Regional Integration and NEPAD, June 10; Foreign Affairs, June 17; and Lands and Forestry, June 24.

The others are: Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, July 8; Ministry of Works and Housing, July 15; Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, July 22; Ministry of Trade and Industry and President's Special Initiatives, July 29; Ministry of Information, August 5; and Ministry of Energy, August 12.

The rest are: Ministry of Communications and Technology, August 19; Ministry of Mines, August 26; Ministry of The Interior, September 2; Ministry of Manpower Development and Employment, September 9; and Ministry of Ports, Harbours and Railways, September 16.

The statement noted that the entire meeting would be held at the Department's Conference room at 1000 hours each day.
