President of Medeama SC, Moses Armah Parker says he is satisfied with his side 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak in Week 15 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League on Sunday.

The Mauves are enjoying one of their best seasons in the Ghanaian top flight league as they sit atop of the standings with 27 points.

The former MTN FA Cup winners went into the clash against Hearts of Oak on the back of their 4-1 win over Wa All Stars in midweek while the Phobians were still mourning from their 1-0 loss at Inter Allies.

However, it was the Accra-based giants who shot into the lead in the 37th-minute courtesy Burkinabe forward Traore Abubakar but substitute midfielder Tahiru Awudu rescued a point for Medeama in the 93rd minute - to the chagrin of the Phobian fans who criticized referee Solomon Abbey's performance in the match.

But Medeama SC bankroller believes the result was a fair reflection of the match and commended his players for their attitude.

"It was a good game. Hearts of Oak were good in the first half but they failed to take the chances that came their way," Mr Parker said.

"In the second half we played better and got the equalizer at the death, so I don't understand why they are fuming. This is football. There are three things involved, win, lose and draw, and in this instance, we got the latter so I'm happy with the outcome."
