Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has shared his thoughts on the termination of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The disease also called Covid-19 has led to the suspension of all football activities in bid to help curb the spread of the virus in the country.

Ghana has recorded 161 COVID-19 cases, including five (5) deaths as of 31 st March 2020.

There has since been growing calls by coaches and players for the current campaign to be terminated but the former Black Stars deputy coach says the decision must be made by the authorities of the game.

"We have to let the authorities discuss that. We are just coaches, the FA, Sports Ministry and those who matter should discuss that and take the right decision in the best interest of football," he told FootballMadeInGhana.

"At the end of the day Ghana has to be the beneficiary. Majority of Ghanaians love to see their football back but once they are in charge of our football we should allow them to take the right decision for everybody."
