Match Preview: Elmina Sharks vs Karela United- Yaw Acheampong, Enos Adepa target first win

Elmina Sharks host Karela United at the Papa Kwesi Ndoum Park on Match day 2 of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

Both teams come into Sunday’s fixture in search of their first win after losing their opening game of the season.

10-man Elmina Sharks were beaten by Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park, whiles Karela United stumbled to a shock 1-0 home defeat to WAFA on match day one.

Sharks coach Yaw Achempong and Karela boss Enos Adepa will be looking for a response from their players when the two teams crosswords in Elmina.

Team News:

Sharks will miss the services of defender Suraj Ibrahim who was sent off in the defeat to the Hunters.

However, Yaw Acheampong can rely on the depth of his squad for the mouthwatering encounter.

Meanwhile, Karela have bolstered their squad with the signing of forward Abega Ofosu.

He is expected to add to the attacking machinery of Anyinase based club, which already boast of Diawise Taylor.
