Award-winning investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni is accusing a female appointee of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of shielding corrupt persons within the NPP government.

The appointee, whose name is not yet known, according to the journalist, has been intervening to cover up corrupt deals of the “most corrupt man in Ghana in the last 25 years”.

Though he failed to name the people he is referring to, he hinted that the man involved goes about “bragging that he is fortified because people in high places are behind him and his evil schemes”.

Manasseh Azure Awuni in a Facebook post described the woman as a “Guantoahemaa for corrupt persons” and warned that God will require from her “the blood of the thousands who are dying because of hardship that is facilitated by the stealing of their resources”.

Below is Manasseh’s statement of Facebook

INSIDE AKUFO-ADDO’S JUBILEE HOUSE
******************************************************
You know yourself. You are a woman. You work in the Jubilee House. You have now become the Guantoahemaa for corrupt persons. Currently, Ghana’s most corrupt person in the last 25 years (a man) is going about boasting to his associates that you’re intervening to shield him from his corrupt deals. He is bragging that he is fortified because people in high places are behind him and his evil schemes.

I don’t know how much he has paid you or promised to pay you. But I know one thing, for sure. Anyone who shields a thief is a thief. So you are a thief. Know that you will pay for every single action you take that hurts the state. If you escape the judgment of the state, there is a higher judgment that will be pas

Our God is a just God. He may be slow, but He will surely act. He will require from you the blood of the thousands who are dying because of hardship that is facilitated by the stealing of their resources. You and this crook will, one day, have to account. And your descendants may suffer.

If you have ears, listen and stop this shameful and criminal complicity. The man who appointed you may not know that you have turned that supposed house of nobility into a citadel of corruption. But your hands are stained, and your reputation tainted.
