Man, 60, stabs father over cocoa farm

A 30-year old man who is popularly referred to as a Rasta man due to his dread locks has reportedly stabbed his father in the shoulder at Dadieso in the Western region.

The suspect according to Christopher Anto our correspondent, stabbed the father because he reportedly gave a portion of his cocoa farm to his junior brothers though he was the first born.

According to him, the victim who was married with two wives and preparing to go on retirement failed to give him his share of his property [cocoa farm] but has allocated some to his junior brothers.

In anger, he stabbed the father in the shoulder.

He was later over powered by some neighbors otherwise he would have killed the father, Christopher Anto added.

The father he concluded is currently on admission at the hospital receiving treatment whereas, the suspect has escaped arrest.
