Man, 22, allegedly kills father over 'womanizing' complaints

A 22-year-old man, Kwadwo Stephen, has allegedly murdered his 78-year-old father at Attabattor near Kwasare in the Bia East District of the Western region for complaining about his promiscuous behavior.

The sad incident which occurred Wednesday left many residents in the town awe-struck as news went round that the culprit gave his father six whacks of machete because he could not take any more complaints of his womanizing attitude.

Kwadwo Stephen is currently in the grips of Kwasare police aiding in investigations.

Speaking in a telephone interview, ASP Daniel Wiafe of the Bia District Command, confirmed the news but was quick to add that the suspect had denied the charge , saying his outfit was still investigating the matter .
