The Chief of Mamponteng in the Ashanti Region, Barimah Saasi Ayeboafo II, has filed a lawsuit against Pastor Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, founder of Roja City International Church, over a prophecy predicting his death and the downfall of other chiefs within his jurisdiction.
The suit, according to a dialyguidenetwork.com report, also names the Angel Broadcasting Network and Ali Baba Dankambary, a presenter at Angel FM, who hosted the programme during which the prophecy was made.
In the writ of summons, filed by lead counsel Yaw Acheampong Boafo of Gye Nyame Chambers, the chief is demanding a retraction of the prophecy, a public apology and GH¢10 million in damages for defamation.

He is further seeking an injunction to prevent Prophet Roja, the presenter and Angel Broadcasting Network, from publishing or broadcasting similar pronouncements in the future.
The court is also being asked to compel the media house to delete all defamatory content from its platforms.
The action stems from a live broadcast on Kumasi-based Angel FM, where Prophet Roja allegedly declared that the Mamponteng Palace faced imminent calamity.
He is reported to have said that the crisis would begin with the chief linguist, describing it as the fall of a significant pillar and warning that the chief himself could be the next to suffer misfortune if care was not taken.
During the same programme, which Ali Baba Dankambary moderated, the prophet went further to cast doubt on the chief's well-being, asking whether he was able to sleep soundly at night, given the visions and spiritual matters surrounding him.
He also predicted that before the week ended, listeners would hear news of the fall of the palace linguist or the symbolic Onyina tree at Mamponteng, insisting that such an event would endanger the chief's life.
Barimah Saasi Ayeboafo II considers these statements not only defamatory but also a direct threat to his life and the safety of his subordinates.
A spokesperson for the Mamponteng Palace explained that the chief views the matter with utmost seriousness and is determined to seek justice to protect both himself and his people.
