Asogli State has called on Ghanaians to adopt more active and healthier lifestyles, stressing the importance of regular physical activity in preventing health problems and improving overall wellbeing.
The call was made during the 2026 Asogli Te Zã Health Walk held in Ho on Saturday, September 12, 2026, which brought together residents and participants from across the community.
The annual health walk provided an opportunity for participants to exercise while raising awareness about the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and making healthier choices.
Under the theme, “Move, stay active, live well,” the initiative encouraged individuals to make physical activity part of their daily routines rather than treating exercise as an occasional activity.
The organisers said regular exercise could contribute to improved physical fitness and overall wellbeing, while healthy lifestyle choices could help individuals maintain better quality of life.
The event also highlighted the role of communities in promoting healthy living, with participants joining together to demonstrate that physical activity could be incorporated into everyday life.

The organisers stressed that building a healthier population requires not only individual commitment but also collective efforts to promote wellness and encourage people to adopt healthy habits.
The health walk attracted strong participation from community members, creating an opportunity for people of different ages and backgrounds to come together around a common health objective.
Beyond the exercise itself, the organisers used the occasion to reinforce the message that staying active should be viewed as an important part of everyday life.
They urged participants to carry the message beyond the event by encouraging family members, friends and other community members to embrace regular physical activity and healthier living.
The initiative forms part of efforts to promote wellness and encourage a culture of active living within the community.
