Majorie Ofosu donates to Givers Never Lack Foundation

Madam Majorie Anna Pokuaa Ofosu, Staff of the Sanbra Duty Free and priority Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport has donated items valued at GHC2, 500 to Givers Never Foundation to take care of children with cerebral palsy.

The Items made up of detergents, clothing and diapers were meant to support the activities of the Foundation to cater for the needs of children with cerebral palsy under their care in the capital.

Presenting the items to the management of the Foundation, Madam Majorie Ofosu said she was touched by the appeals of Givers Never Lack Foundation to support them.

She called on people all over the country to support the children and eschew beliefs that those children were punished by evil deeds.
She said “their defects are as a result of some complications and therefore need the support of all to grow up into useful adults.

“We really need to show them some love and support.”
Mr Edward Amankwah, Chief Executive Officer of Givers Never Lack Foundation commended her for the donation and promised to put the items to good use.
He appealed to other individuals and organisations to support his Foundatrion to cater for the needs of the children.

Mr Amankwah who started the Foundation with his own son that had the condition advised people against stigmatizing them as it was neither a disease nor contagious.

The Foundation, since its establishment in 2014 has provided financial and material support to children with the Cerebral palsy conditions and had also organised outreach programmes on social media platforms, churches and buses to support the couse.

They came to the limelight when they rescued people with Cerebral Palsy, whose parents had given-up on them and had media support to carry out their activities that touched many hearts to render their support for their activities.
