Mahama to sack Chief of Staff, presidential staffers

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has in a letter warned all appointees of his government, particularly, those working at the seat of government - Flagstaff House; that with the on-going reshuffle, no appointee is safe from being fired, The Informer sources at the presidency have hinted.

Our credible sources close to the appointees disclosed that the President in the letter said to the effect that he (President) is going to ensure that all those who have been found to be incompetent or have been compromising their positions will be fired.

Pushed to disclose the categories of persons working at the Presidency served with the said letter, the sources said “even the Chief of Staff, Mr. Prosper Bani has also received the said letter, together with Presidential Staffers and Aides."

“My brother, the President is wild and will not stop at anything to sack any appointee who is deemed to be grossly incompetent; and whose actions have drawn the Presidency into disrepute, particularly those who engage in influence peddling,” one of them stated.

“In fact, the President per his letter, has sent a strong signal that many of the appointees who hitherto think they are untouchable have no locus, and will be fired accordingly if found to have indulged in any untoward behavior,” he concludes.

The Informer will, in the coming days, reveal how a certain questionable and arrogant character at the Presidency, have been disrespectful to senior government appointees.
