Mahama should swear by the Bible if he claims to be innocent – Abronye DC

NPP Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC, has asked President John Mahama to swear by the Bible if he claims to have no connections whatsoever with the Airbus scandal.

He made the aforementioned comment while reacting to the famous Airbus bribery scandal which involves some Ghanaian government officials who were in power between 2009 and 2015.

“Mahama should raise a Bible and swear if he thinks he's been accused falsely. He should ask God to deal with those accusing him of taking 5 million euros if truly he is innocent. Who said you cannot swear by the Bible. If he claims to be a Christian, he should do the needful,” he stressed.

Speaking in an interview with Hello FM, he threw some 3 questions at the Special Prosecutor.

“Please tell the special prosecutor to ask Mahama these three questions for me. Which president has a brother called Samuel Adams Mahama? From 2009 to 2015, which government official’s brother was picked and paid as a consultant for Airbus? During the period of 2009 to 2015, which president’s brother left the UK to Ghana just to have a meeting with Airbus officials?" he asked.

He added, former president Mills did not have any brother named Samuel Adams Mahama.

“Late President Atta Mills did not have any brother who is a UK citizen. It was Mahama. His father’s names are Adams Mahama,” he stated.
