Nana Boakye, Parliamentary aspirant for Manhyia North, insists that President John Dramani Mahama should "humbly" step down.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Nana Boakye recounted the failures of President Mahama's administration which are crippling the economy.

According to him, Ghanaians are suffering under the 'reckless' leadership of President John Mahama.

He held a strong view that President Mahama cannot administer the affairs of the State effectively and so, for him to seek another term in office will further deepen the misery.

“To come and continue the incompetence, the recklessness…If I were the President, I would have stepped down. When you’re given a job, and you can’t do it, humbly you step down.”

Nana Boakye also called for a new voters' register by the Electoral Commission (EC) to rectify all irregularities in the biometric electoral system.
