Mahama lacks the ability to rule Ghana - Ashanti GBA President

President of the Ashanti Regional Branch of the Ghana Bar Association, Lawyer Yaw Acheampong Boafo has taken a swipe at the President, John Dramani Mahama over his current ministerial reshuffle, describing him as inconsistent and indecisive to govern the country.

In an interview with Hello FM in Kumasi, the Lawyer complained that the country will be heading into a ditch if the President continues to employ this kind of tactics to govern the country.

“How can you reshuffle ministers who have barely started working as ministers in their respective regions? This show how indecisive he (President) is; as he wrote in his own book 'my first coup d'etat”, he noted.

He added that the President must have something up his sleeves; if not, he should come out and explain to Ghanaians why he has made such an early reshuffle with less than hundred days in office.

Speaking on the same platform, the National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan believes that the President should have exercised a little restraint to enable government assess the performance of the regional ministers before coming out with a reshuffle if he so desires.

“That notwithstanding, I believe the president is on course with the governance of the country”, he noted.
