Former Sports Minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye has said the reason why Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Lawyer Kweku Ayiah rejected the Anas Armeyaw Anas investigative bribe is because of the training he received as an old student of Mfantsipim School, where they are groomed to look and think about tomorrow at all times in their lives, MyNewsGH.com has gathered.

Mr Nii Lante Vanderpuye who was a roommate to Kweku Ayiah back in Secondary school said he was not surprised that Lawyer Kweku Ayiah turned out to be one of the few people who turned down a bribe from Anas Armeyaw Anas.

A gathering of MOBAs

Speaking to the Citi FM this morning following the showing of the Anas Armeyaw Anas investigative exposé, the Former Sports Minister said he’s “encouraged that many Ghanaians stood resolutely behind Anas and TigerEye PI” following attacks on the work of the ace investigative journalist Anas.

“Kweku Eyiah was my roommate back at Mfantsipim and perhaps that is why he didn’t take the bribe” Nii Lante said.

“It was Dwen Hwe Kan on his part”, he added.

Few good men and a woman

The Chief Protocol Officer at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Diana Boateng was among the few upright persons who refused to take bribes from Ghana’s undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas to manipulate processes.
