MESSAGE TO ALL VISITORS

Since last weekend the traffic to GhanaWeb has increased unexpectedly. This sudden increase is the reason for the severe service interruptions of the past days.

We are investigating what the cause is of this sudden increase of the hits. Maybe GhanaWeb is simply becoming more popular but at this stage we cannot rule out sabotage. It should be noted that evidence is being gathered which will be handed over to the appropiate authorities in due cause.

The Say It Loud discussionboard is temporarily relocated to a different website. We realize that the different format is causing inconvenience to the numerous regular visitors of SIL but we will not tolerate the suppression of Free Speech by some coward(s).

We are doing what we can to reduce the negative impact of this sabotage as much as possible.
