Head of the Fosuh family, Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, has accused gospel musician Papa Shee of leading a group that he believes is intentionally disrupting preparations surrounding the funeral arrangements of the late Daddy Lumba.
Speaking in a discussion on United Showbiz on November 30, 2025, Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu expressed frustration over what he described as a deliberate attempt by Papa Shee and his associates to interfere with processes that should be left to the family and medical professionals.
According to him, the claims from Papa Shee’s camp concerning the autopsy and the presence of Daddy Lumba’s children are misleading and unnecessary.
“I’ve seen that Papa Shee has formed his gang that is deliberately trying to disrupt everything we do. I don’t know what Lumba did to them,” he said.
Addressing allegations surrounding the autopsy, the Abusuapanyin explained that Daddy Lumba’s children were present during the procedure, in line with standard practice.

“They said Daddy Lumba’s children were there while the autopsy was being done. The children were by their father for the autopsy to be done; we weren’t there and it’s not like the children who operated him. A special doctor did everything so why won’t they accept it?” he stated.
He further questioned Papa Shee’s motive for continually challenging the family and hindering their funeral plans.
“What has Lumba done to you? Please, allow us to bury him in peace and it will cost us nothing,” he appealed.
He noted that the distribution of the late musician’s properties is a legal matter to be handled by his lawyers and immediate family, not outsiders.
“His lawyers would just share his properties to his children, I won’t get anything and same as you. You’re also not a family member so why are you bothering Lumba’s body and not allowing us to ahead with the funeral,” he added.
