Love Foundation-China, an association of Ghanaians living in China, has presented assorted items worth hundreds of Ghana cedis to the inmates of Ho Cured Lepers Village.

The items include bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, used clothing and packs of toilet rolls.

Mr Felix Kwabena Dwomor, the Spokesperson of the Foundation, said the gesture was to express love to the less-privileged in appreciation of what God has done for them.

He asked the inmates to remain hopeful of a better tomorrow and keep their trust in God.

Mr Dwomor hinted of the Foundation’s plans to visit the Village and other vulnerable groups in the country regularly.

Togbe Jacob Ezor, the Chief of the Village, said the items came at the right time - the month of love - and expressed gratitude to individuals and institutions who continued to support them.

He appealed for wheelchairs and mattresses for some of the cured lepers.
