Loud-mouthed NDC stalwarts to be sanctioned - Kofi Adams hints

National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has hinted that the party will soon crack the whip on party functionaries who have resorted to washing the party’s dirty linen in public.

According to him, the party will invoke certain articles and get the erring party members punished if they fail to cease and continue to banter in media denigrating the reputation of the party.

“When we get to some point we will have to apply the party rules. But for now we will advise them to stop what they are doing”, he revealed on Kumasi based Abusua fm.

He urged aggrieved members to use the Dr Kwasi Botchway committee to address their concerns indicating that they have provided emails, telephone and whatsapp numbers through which they could be reached.

“It is only when you try to use these channels to have your matter heard and you are not able to get them to present your case you could be justified for going public….but until you attempt you have no right to go about attacking party officials on radio”, he revealed.

Kofi Adams has been described as a ‘disaster’ who contributed hugely to the NDC’s shameful defeat in the 2016 elections.

The NDC lost the 2016 elections miserably to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Akufo-Addo beat the incumbent John Mahama with over a million votes to win the presidency with the NPP also having almost an absolute majority in Parliament after snatching several seats from the NDC.

Even as the Prof. Kwasi Botchway Committee investigating what led to the party’s shameful defeat continues with its work, members of the NDC have in the past few days traded accusations against each other over who did what
